International growth powers Envisage Group into The Sunday Times HSBC International Track 200

Envisage Group, the UK’s leading vehicle concept design and realisation engineering company, has joined The Sunday Times HSBC International Track 200 for the first time. Envisage Group placed 81 out of 200 leading businesses.
Now in its 10th year, the annual league table ranks Britain’s leading mid-market private companies with the fastest-growing international sales, and includes names such as outdoor gear retailer Mountain Warehouse and craft beer producer BrewDog. Envisage Group has now joined those names ranked 81 out of 200 leading businesses.
Recording international sales of £3.2m in 2017, on total sales of £48.5m, Envisage Group is on an upward trajectory and unveiled plans at CES 2019 to expand its operations in North America, doubling personnel in Fremont, California, investing over £1m in 2019, as a foundation for what it believes could be a ten-fold increase in revenue over the next five years.
Working closely with OEMs at the front end of their vehicle programmes, Envisage Group offers both design and realisation expertise from concepts, to test public reaction, through the detailed engineering that ensures a programme delivers the right end product. Its skills are particularly compelling for a wave of new automotive entrants and industry disruptors whose expertise does not traditionally lie in mobility markets.
Marking its 10th anniversary, more than 1,000 companies have featured on International Track in the last decade. Alumni include Aston Martin, which floated last year and is valued at £2.8bn, and Fever-Tree, now worth £3bn. Skyscanner featured four times before it was sold to a Chinese group for £1.4bn in 2016. Lush featured on the first International Track league table published in 2010, and has since doubled its overseas sales to £300m.
Sponsored by HSBC, DHL Express and Oracle NetSuite, The Sunday Times HSBC International Track 200 is compiled by Fast Track, the Oxford-based research and networking events firm.
“On behalf of everyone at Envisage Group, I am delighted that we have made our first entry into The Sunday Times HSBC International Track 200,” said Bryan Campbell, Envisage Group Managing Director and Founder. “It is incredibly pleasing to be rubbing shoulders alongside some household names and the ranking is testament to the strategic plan we have put in place to grow internationally – and to all the hard work the team.
“It is fantastic to be recognised and we have every intention to grow our revenue further, here and in markets such as the US and China. There has never been a more exciting time for innovative and disruptive engineering companies such as ourselves.”
Amanda Murphy, Head of Commercial Banking, HSBC UK, commented:
“We at HSBC UK are delighted to back the Sunday Times International Track 200 again this year. All the businesses it showcases have truly inspiring stories to tell about creativity, resilience and ambition to succeed. They are the kinds of enterprises we are thrilled to support and that provide the backbone of our economy, today and tomorrow.”
