NAWA Technologies unveils hybrid battery-powered electric motorbike concept designed by Envisage.

Pioneering ultra-fast energy storage experts, NAWA Technologies, reveal a vision for a future electric powertrain, debuted in a stunning electric motorbike concept on 7th January 2020 at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), Las Vegas.

The NAWA Racer is inspired by 1960 Café Racers but is powered by a world-first ‘hybrid’ battery system, which combines the company’s next-gen ultracapacitors with lithium-ion. It offers ten times more power and five times more energy than existing ultracapacitors, bringing huge efficiency improvements and unleashing the potential of a hybrid battery.

For the project, Envisage provided initial design proposals from which the final design was perfected. Envisage took the NAWA Racer through the entire concept phase, including providing sketches and renders, working all the way to producing the simulator for the CES show.
