Envisage Support Castlebridge for their Charity Ball Centre Pieces

Envisage are delighted to have supported Castlebridge in creating twenty sets of stunning table centre pieces for their annual charity ball, which raised money in aid of Children’s Heaven in Ethiopia and Great Ormond Street Hospital. It was important for Envisage to represent different aspects of our capabilities through the designs, working collaboratively to complete the pieces.

The initial stage involved our Design Team researching centre pieces, understanding the event and sketching ideas around the principle of showcasing many of Envisage’s skills and technologies. Our designer worked closely with our in-house CMF designers to think about the different surface treatments that would make the pieces beautiful both individually and as a collection of three.

Assisting through the initial design process was the CAD team. Working with the designer from the start, they were able to align work streams and organically create designs. The CAD team aimed at getting the most out of current manufacturing and finishing techniques by using proven engineering fundamentals that would ensure the strength and stability of the centre pieces.

Following completion of the design process, the modelling team faced the task of building the centre pieces. The team worked together to create their own jigs and templates to ensure that every piece was identical and maintained the consistent high standards expected. With the task of producing a total of sixty pieces, the team were incredibly satisfied when they finally saw the finished product.

Incorporated in the process was Envisage Classic & Bespoke, who produced perhaps the most eye-catching part of the centre pieces, the metal flowers. Individually crafter to flow seamlessly, the flowers command attention. The paint team then beautifully finished the flowers by individually airbrushing the leaf tips and the stands in a combination of matter and gloss blue with a golden chrome that perfectly complemented the Castlebridge pallete.

We are delighted with the finished centre pieces and they are proudly on display in the reception areas at each of our sites.
