Overview

Pioneering ultra-fast energy storage experts, NAWA Technologies, wanted to showcase a vision for a future electric powertrain, debuted in a stunning electric motorbike concept and contacted Envisage to design the concept.

The NAWA Racer is inspired by 1960 Café Racers but is powered by a world-first ‘hybrid’ battery system, which combines the company’s next-gen ultracapacitors with lithium-ion. It offers ten times more power and five times more energy than existing ultracapacitors, bringing huge efficiency improvements and unleashing the potential of a hybrid battery.

For the project, Envisage provided initial design proposals from which the final design was perfected. Envisage took the NAWA Racer through the entire concept phase, including providing sketches and renders.

Conclusion

The bike was debuted in a stunning electric motorbike concept at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), Las Vegas. Envisage are delighted to have been a part of this ground-breaking project.
