The Challenge

We were approached by our client to support with the restoration of a Win Percy Jaguar E-Type to carry out the restoration of the car body.

Our Approach

We were entrusted to complete the restoration of the cars body. Completely stripping it to remove corrosion, replace panels, and rebuild the body shell, we introduced lightweight aluminium doors (RS Panels). We then re-profiled the wheel arches which were hand riveted.

Our metal forming specialists used a multitude of traditional coachbuilding techniques on this restoration including wheeling to form complex curves, metal finishing, lead loading for surface uniformity, and gap & flush profiling to achieve optimal panel fitting.

Conclusion

We delivered a prepped and metal finished car body, reflecting the high standards and attention to detail that defines the skill of our team.
