The Win Percy E-Type
Having a strong legacy in motorsport, British racing legend Win Percy is best known for his success in touring cars throughout the 1970’s and 1980’s. He was a key figure in bringing credibility to historic racing in the UK. This version of the Jaguar E-type is well known in classic racing for its speed and style. It was modified with upgraded suspension & brakes, aerodynamics, weight reduction, and engine tuning.

Body Restoration
We were entrusted to complete the restoration of the cars body. Completely stripping it to remove corrosion, replace panels, and rebuild the body shell, we introduced lightweight aluminium doors (RS Panels). Following this, we re-profiled the wheel arches which were hand riveted.

Our skilled metal forming specialists used a multitude of traditional coachbuilding techniques on this restoration including wheeling to form complex curves, metal finishing, lead loading for surface uniformity, and gap & flush profiling to achieve optimal panel fitting.
